This my submission for a contest happening over on Love in the Time of Chasmosaurus to win a copy of The Tyrannosaurus Chronicles by Dave Hone.
The goal of the contest is to draw a Tyrannosaurus rex succeeding at something, preferable some hilarious human task. There are way too many jokes out there at the expense of “the puny” arms of the T.rex, but there are plenty of things it would have been awesome at. ^_~
Anyone who has ever went surfing before will know the action of pushing yourself up into a standing position on the board. Every time I think of a T.rex using it’s arms to push its body out of a resting position I imagine it on a board, catching some sweet waves.
